We’re no strangers to the magic of Lake Macatawa.

A small body of water nestled into the west side of Holland, Michigan it’s dotted with incredible craftsman cottages and homes, many which have been in families for multiple generations. Over the years we’ve been a part of a handful of backyard weddings overlooking this very water, each incredibly special in its own capacity. But Allie and Louis’ August celebration holds a colorful and cheerful place in our hearts, bringing the essence of summertime-in-Michigan to life. A few notable details that our design process took into consideration? Two different sailcloth tents needed to accommodate the property’s unique lot lines, an unusually large team of trusted professionals who made the execution of this party so enjoyable, and more than 11 farms helping our team find 1200+ locally grown stems of orange and peach zinnias (success!). The design-cherry-on-top was the inclusion of citrus-inspired RB Soap Co. favors made by RBC’s sister company for every guest to take home and enjoy.
